Our holistic approach means we can deliver on any or all aspects of your project, from supply and delivery, positioning, mechanical and electrical installation, control systems, fuel transfer systems, testing and commissioning. Our engineers will work closely with your own project management teams to ensure we minimise on-site delays and complete work in alignment with your own policies and specifications.
Generator & UPS installation services
For any installation project, Generator Power Systems have the ability and breadth of expertise to be able to deliver a complete install, including providing approved sub-contractors to complete the necessary ground works on-site. This can be any element of infrastructure such as cable trays, foundation plinths, etc..
Full plans drawn up to specification and appropriate risk assessments/method statements are always created and signed off before any ground works begin.
Ground works
All projects are supplied with CAD drawings and necessary documentation. New installs in particular utilise our CAD engineer’s expertise to plan your project in detail.
Computer Aided Design (CAD)
The Generator Power Systems engineers/approved sub-contractors are fully qualified to perform all mechanical and electrical installations pertaining to the generator setup, including all fuel, exhaust and cooling systems. These installs will be completed and thoroughly tested before any handover, and will conform to both client specification and industry standards.
Mechanical & electrical installation
We also provide control panels, distribution boards and changeover panels all manufactured/customised to client specification and to the highest electrical standards.
Control systems
We can provide sound attenuation to meet your requirements. Sound reduction may be in the form of exhaust silencers, individual attenuators and/or complete canopies, any of which can be tailored to your installation project.
Generator Power Systems possesses renowned expertise in multi-set synchronisation. We can design, supply and install complete control systems for multi-set operation including auto start/stop, load monitoring and the integration of new sets with existing installs. Safe and reliable synchronisation to the mains electrical supply along with subsequent testing can also be facilitated.
Sound attenuation and multi-set synchronisation
Once we have completed your generator installation, full demonstration and testing of the work is done before handover of all documentation including instructions and manuals.
However, the completion of your install project does not mean the end of your relationship with Generator Power Systems. Our aftercare service is second-to-none, and you can be confident in our options of ongoing maintenance contracts as well as our 24/7 call out guarantee.
