In the event of any power failure or emergency control issue, our engineers will first provide support over the phone and attempt to guide you through possible remedial procedures whilst organising despatch to site, and then restoring power/carrying out repairs as necessary.
Service Contracts
Our highly competitive service contracts are rarely matched in terms of guaranteed quality for maintenance and repairs, and are focused on preventative measures to ensure your system runs effectively all year round. Comprehensive testing and maintenance plans are tailored to both your requirements and the needs of your power supply system, and are therefore individually priced.
Fuel Polishing
As well as the standard inspection and replacement of vital components, diesel fuel analysis is also carried out during every service. A large proportion of generator failures are due to poor fuel quality, and this is often overlooked. If found to be in an unsatisfactory condition the diesel can be treated (a process known as fuel polishing), to ensure the dependability of your standby power system.
24/7 Callouts
We recommend regularly testing your standby generator to ensure it will run effectively when needed to provide power in critical situations. We can provide loadbanks to test your generator’s operation under a variety of loads, which ultimately allows you have full confidence in your generator’s performance. As part of an ongoing service contract Generator Power Systems can also develop a proactive testing routine and provide recommendations to avoid any future power failures.
Across London and the South East, we guarantee to respond to your emergency call out within 4 hours. However, we have a number of engineers within 2 hours of London and many call outs are responded to within this time.
Testing & loadbanks
Our engineers are available for all generator repair works no matter how small. If possible we carry out full repairs on site, and can provide full system diagnostics for all types and brands of generators. The upgrading of control systems and other generator parts is a service which we can also provide upon request – our knowledge and experience allows us to recommend the best components for your standby power system, maximising uptime and effectiveness.
